HAILSHAM ROTARY CLUB HOSTS DANISH ROTARY CLUB
Hailsham Rotary Club recently hosted members of the Haderslev Rotary Club from Denmark and a total of 6 Rotarians and their wives and partners joined members of Hailsham Rotary Club and their families for the period of the celebrations.
The visitors visited Bewl Water at Lamberhurst on the Saturday to take part in a Mountain Bike tour of the reservoir and were then given lunch at a nearby Public House in Three Legged Cross. In the evening a Progressive Supper was organised which involved the Guests visiting different Rotarians in their houses for each course of the meal with a final coffee meeting when the guests and the Hailsham Club members joined together.
In welcoming Members of the Haderslev Rotary Club to the Progressive Supper – Francis Hodge said “ It is always a pleasure to welcome Haderslev Members to Hailsham and they feel more like family rather than fellow Rotarians”
